Voices of Her Bloodline
For women living with hemophilia and those still on the journey to diagnosis.
Each Voices of Her Bloodline, Women's Rap Session will begin with a Conversation Guide who will help introduce the topic and share insights for approximately 30 minutes. The focus of the program is not a presentation, but a supportive conversation where women can share experiences, ask questions, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections.
Session Topic: Kendall's Personal Journey: A Purpose-Filled Life with a Bleeding Disorder
Hosts: Kim Phelan and Jennifer DeGlopper
Kendall Dean brings both personal and professional experience to the bleeding disorders community. Living with hemophilia B and von Willebrand disease—and raising a son who is also affected by both conditions—has shaped her passion for advocacy, education, and support.
Her experiences as both a patient and a mother inspired Kendall to become a nurse and build a career helping others navigate their own bleeding disorder journeys. Today, she serves as a Senior Director at a specialty pharmacy, where she continues to advocate for and support the community that has played such an important role in her life.
Kendall will share her story as part of this week’s Voices of Bloodline virtual event.
