Scholarships for the Hemophilia Community

In addition to the Coalition’s William N. Drohan Scholarship fund, we are listing here some scholarships from other sources that you may quality for. Application deadlines are typically in early spring (March-May) for the next academic school year starting in September. For actual deadlines and complete eligibility requirements, contact each source directly.

  • The Soozie Courter Hemophilia Scholarship Program
    To be eligible for this scholarship from Pfizer, students must have hemophilia A or B, must be a high school senior, have a GED, or be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational school.

  • HFA Educational Scholarships
    The Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) offers four scholarships of $2,000-$4,000 to promising students in the bleeding disorders community. Scholarships are awarded in three categories: educational scholarship; parent / sibling / child educational scholarship; and medical / healthcare services educational scholarship.
