Cada sesión de conversación de Foro Latino comenzará con la participación de un Guía de Conversación, quien ayudará a presentar el tema y compartirá perspectivas e información durante aproximadamente 30 minutos. El enfoque del programa no es una presentación formal, sino una conversación de apoyo en la que los participantes puedan compartir experiencias, hacer preguntas, aprender unos de otros y crear conexiones significativas.

Each Foro Latino Rap Session will begin with a Conversation Guide who will help introduce the topic and share insights for approximately 30 minutes. CSL speaker: Jennifer Davila, MD
Jennifer Davila, is pediatric hematologist at the Children’s Hospital of Montefiore (CHAM) in the Bronx, NY. She is co-director of the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center at Montefiore and is an Associate Professor of pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Davila is also the Medical Director of Pediatric Hematology.
Dr Davila specializes in the diagnosis and management of children with bleeding and clotting disorders. She sits on the Medical Advisory board for the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation and has participated in the development of national guidelines and advisory documents for the treatment and management of patients with hemostatic disorders. Her research focus lies in the prevention of thrombosis in special populations such as pediatric patients with sickle cell disease.
