Support Network: Living B Men's Collective

Introducing
Living B: The Men’s Collective
a space built for men living with hemophilia B and dads raising the next generation.

Each Living B Men's Rap Session will begin with a Conversation Guide who will help introduce the topic and share insights for approximately 30 minutes. The focus of the program is not a presentation, but a supportive conversation where men can share experiences, ask questions, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections.

Session Topic
Protecting Your Joints Through Every Stage of Life

Joint health is an important part of long-term health for men living with hemophilia B, but the causes and experiences of joint pain are not always straightforward. Dr. Clark will explore how bleeding can affect joints over time, how to distinguish and evaluate different sources of pain, and the role of treatment in preventing and managing hemophilic arthropathy. The discussion will address when joint symptoms may signal bleeding or progression of joint damage, approaches to pain management, and how treatment decisions can be personalized across mild, moderate, and severe hemophilia B. Men will gain a better understanding of what to discuss with their care team and how proactive, individualized care can help protect joint health throughout life.
