Karen Boyd, LMSW
Karen is a licensed clinical social worker since 1982 and has been active in the community for over 17 years. She serves as the social worker for the Michigan State University Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders. Karen specializes in working with individuals and couples to create a satisfying relationship. When away from her busy professional life, Karen enjoys ballroom dancing, gardening, entertaining, travel, pickleball and a good cup of coffee.
David Rushlow, LMSW
David has spent 30 years as the social worker and program director at the Northern Regional Bleeding Disorder Center at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. He has presented various topics on bleeding disorders over the years both locally and nationally and has a special interest in facilitating group discussions on Intimacy and communication skills. In 2021, he received the social worker of the year award from the National Hemophilia Foundation. David is an admitted coffee snob and recently discovered pickle ball and is now officially hooked!
