Men’s Education & Empowerment Retreat

Our empowering Men's Retreats are an outstanding success and are continually evolving. Each year, the Coalition for Hemophilia B sponsors spring and fall retreats for men age 21 and older living with hemophilia B.

The retreat’s main mission is to help the men in our community through peer support and education. The older men mentor the younger men, and we now include fathers of children with hemophilia B and spouses of affected individuals.

The participants, who often call each other “blood brothers,” enjoy the retreat as a time to gather and share with others who have encountered similar challenges. This program attracts all ages, but the older generation feels most comfortable at this retreat. There is always a waiting list!
