The 2026 Beats Music Program
Nashville, TN
July 15 - 19, 2026
For the past eight years, the Beats Music Program has become a meaningful and uplifting part of our community. We have watched participants begin as complete beginners and grow into confident vocalists, musicians and performers. Even more powerful is seeing individuals with bleeding disorders from ages 13-85, who may not attend traditional education programs, find their way into the community through music. All types of genre from classical to rock. The program has created a welcoming space where people connect, express themselves, and build confidence together.
Research continues to show how powerful music can be for people living with chronic or rare conditions. Studies have found that music participation can reduce stress and anxiety by as much as 40 to 60 percent, while more than 70 percent of participants report improved mood and emotional well being. Group music programs also significantly increase feelings of connection and belonging, which is especially meaningful in communities where people can often feel isolated. Community arts programs often reach individuals who do not participate in traditional health education programs, with studies showing that creative programs can increase engagement in community activities by nearly 50 percent.

The Beats 2025 – Keep Your Head Up (Recorded Live)
Experience the energy, creativity, and resilience of The Beats 2025 with this live performance of "Keep Your Head Up."
Written and performed by participants in the Coalition for Hemophilia B's The Beats Program, this original song reflects the strength, hope, and community that define the bleeding disorders community. Through music, participants share their voices, tell their stories, and remind us that no one faces life's challenges alone.
Recorded live during The Beats 2025 Program, this performance celebrates courage, connection, and the power of lifting one another up.
