For more than 25 years, our nonprofit organization has been empowering hemophilia B patients and their families to act as advocates on their behalf and ensuring that they have timely information in regards to their healthcare, so they can have the highest quality of life possible. We publish quarterly Factor Nine News, an educational newsletter responding to the need for information, advocacy, and scientific research exchange, as well as human interest stories. New in 2018, we are able to host sponsored "Ask the Expert" discussions monthly on our Hemophilia B Connected mobile app, bringing together peers, families and experts in the hemophilia B community.

We also host family-oriented educational meetings throughout  the United States several times a year to unite, support,  
and share treatment options and methods.

Subscriber Base

Factor Nine News reaches over 2,500 members. It is the only newsletter of its kind and has been greatly beneficial in helping to educate and provide timely information to individuals and families with hemophilia B. The newsletter is printed and distributed 4x a year (May, August, October, and December).

Article highlights from each issue are distributed as e-newsletter editions to nearly 2,000 subscribers to our Factor IX (FIX) email list.

Social Reach

@HemophiliaB Facebook page has 1,700+ followers, and we have a combined audience of 1,200+ on Twitter and Instagram. Sponsors can request a targeted direct e-mail campaign for delivery to our FIX e-mail list of active members. The content is written by the sponsor/advertiser and deployed by the Coalition on their behalf via the MailChimp platform.

Hemophilia B Connected Sponsorship

Sponsors can interact with hemophilia B patients and caregivers by providing their own experts to host discussions on the Ask the Expert Channel on our B Connected app. Discussions are moderated by Anthony Vetter (

B Connected is our newest communications channel.
